Maybe it did - maybe it just did not abend . . .I changed the proc to some other one.. and it worked
You (your organization) needs to understand why the change you made caused the abend to go away. Otherwise there are probably other Easytrieve modules that are just waiting to abend (at o'dark:30).
If you do not know what happened and how you "fixed" it, your environment is basically out of control and this should be addressed. . .
