Hi,
The file contains 30laks records. I need to skip the 01599549 and copy only 2701 records after skiping the records. how to do in FIle Aid in batch mode.

This is quite thoroughly explained in the File Aid manual. I recommend you read for a bit.

Do you know how to do it in online mode? If yes - select "B" in this option

Select all

Specify Execution Information:
Process online or batch ===> B (O = Online; B = Batch)

else go through the manuals as suggested by Robert.
