Hello and welcome to the forums,

If you don't know what this utility does, how is it needed for your project?

Unless you are using some other code by that name, it is a BMC utility.

Whoever suggested you use it should also provide the documentation and what you are to do with it.
Hope this helps,
d.sch.

Hello,

I want to know the function of the utility.
As i mentioned, you should already have the documentation. If not, i suspect you will need to get it from BMC (it really already should be available to you). None of my current systems use BMC, so i'm limited.

While we upload data from dataset to DB2 it s showing error.
If you post the error(s) encountered, someone may have a suggestion.

i have to resolve it.
Have you talked with your dbs(s). If there is a problem with a database load, they would be a good place to begin. If there is a problem with the upload to the mainframe, the network people might be a good place to begin.

If you post the jcl, control statements, and diagnostic info (including any message numbers) we will probably be better able to help.
Hope this helps,
d.sch.
