How can we possibly help you when we don't know what "data stream" means to you? The only common use of the term that I can think of on mainframes is for 3270 data streams, and that would not be a topic for such a rank beginner.

Hello,

How has this topic come up for you?

Suggest you ask your instructor to provide more specifics.

Once we know what you want to learn, someone may have a suggestion.
Hope this helps,
d.sch.

Data-stream, as the meaning goes is - "uninterrupted flow of a long sequence of data", it is a generic term; and for different context it would mean different. As Robert has mentioned, it might mean 3270 Data Streams, it might also AFP Data Streams or...something else, unless you specify, as Dick has also asked for.
