Run a job at particular time

Postby amar » Sun Dec 21, 2008 12:54 am

I have a job which transmits a file.

My problem is i want it to run this job at some particular time ( say at 12:00 hrs )
Is there any way i can do this by coding some statement in JCL.

Thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum,

The way to do this is to have the job defined in the system schedule to be submitted at 12:00. If you talk with your scheduling people, they should be able to help you set it up to run as needed.
Hope this helps,
