I was just describing a worst case scenario :D
DB2 is smart, CICS just sometimes, the other cases... better not talk about them
cheers

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort

See...I'm thinking the TS used 'deadlock' incorrectly, so there may actually be a legit problem to solve. They may have a weird situation caused by some uncommon design that needs a work-around that doesn't involve re-writing the entire system.

Not a situation that I would be happy with, but one that I would still try and patch up.

TS has disappeared - either his query was answered or he was scared off or was trying to be funny. Won't know unless he comes back (may be on holiday).
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.
