My company allows me to visit one international work related (I'm Java/JEE Developer/Technical Lead interested in polyglot programming) conference each year. I've visited Javapolis (devox) in the past.
For this year I'm looking for a conference which is less technology but a bit more methodology focussed... possible like Oracle Develop or QCon or JavaOne What would you recommend?

I would suggest starting a new topic as per the forum rules.
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.

Well that’s a very good question and at the right time my friend. I received an email few days back about JavaOne and Oracle Develop conference to be held soon in Hyderabad, I think its in the month of May this year only.
I would suggest you to check out the schedule and the sessions and go for the one that you’re more interested in… here’s a link :
