In India who manufacture mainframe?
what special work can mainframe do than our normal AMD Intel computer?

Entirely out of curiosity, did you try Google-ing/searching-the-net, for your queries?
Also, hope you're aware that AMD and INTEL, both are competitors.

Lastly, after reading the last few posts on this topic - it'd be better if you first understood what a mainframe is used for, what kind of business need it serves; 'business need' being the keyword here. Proceed to the remaining jargon such as 'cloud computing', 'ATM', 'Antenna' and God knows what, only after you've got that keyword down to the last 'd' of 'need'; otherwise it is usually difficult to envision the gargantuan tasks that mainframes perform, when compared to daily-business-need-processors.

all this is TOO MUCH even for a beginner' s forum

if somebody has never heard of a mainframe he/she has no place here

the philosophy of a mainframe related forum should be ( IMO )
answer question related to the TS work on mainframe

for beginners very basic questions are allowed

nothing more nothing less

and since this topic is leading to NOWHERE
it will be locked
cheers

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort
