Hello Prino,

Going through the panel, it was able to search the string.

Curious, now; batch job and the panel invocation are working, direct invocation failing; so that would mean the search string is not getting resolved correctly hence the failure; is there a way I can find this?

Thanks.

This worked for me:
Command ===> SRCHFOR 'ABC,'''
This is my member:
 MNPC#1    XXXXTH.TJH.CNTL(TEST)
 Command ===>
----+----1----+----2----+----3--
********************************
1234 ABC,' 2345

Yup Terry, same worked for Prino as well, and it should work as this is how the manual documents it... :D
Ironically it doesn't seem to be working for us here, when invoked directly (and not through panel or JCL) :P

Cheers.

If it makes any difference, I'm using ISPF level 6.3.
