By asking your support/network people
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.

I have a problem in TSO/LOGON . I have entered user id and password and acct name, procedure provided by IBM Mainframe forum and also entered new password but not getting the ready window or next window to enter in ISPF.
Please tell me what the missing step to enter and also tell me if I did the wrong procedure.
Please let me know about it ....
I would like to practice more in this.

As you took stuff from a forum, unless you are on the same system as the person who posted it you will need different information that should be supplied by your system administrators. To log on you should only need a TSO id and password - which will be given to you by the said administrator.

By the way - you should not tailgate other peoples topics - start your own. It is YOUR problem, not theirs.

After choosing TSO then entered=>It asks for user ID
After entering User ID TSO/E LOGON window appears ,it shows message IKJ.....I Userid User_Name not authorized to use TSO
But the provided ID is for TSO use.
What kind of this message ?
Why I am getting this ?

it shows message IKJ.....I Userid User_Name not authorized to use TSO

Why are you hiding the message number? That is the most important piece of information. Reading the description in the messages and codes book made shed some light on your problem.

Yes, the admin tells you your initial password, but you then have to change it to something only you know.
