FTP file from Mainframe to local

Hi,

I have a TEXT file in mainframe.Each record is with 320byte length.Last 4 (317 to 320) contains blank spaces. When i FTP this file to my local i am not getting last 4(till 316 i am to see). I need complete 320byte with blank spaces.


Please help in this.

Check with your site support group. There is an option in FTP called TRAILINGBLANKS which either keeps or discards trailing blanks from records. If this is set, that would explain the behavior you see.
