parthiban, you would need to ask IBM. They may have a PTF that provides the error message for OS/390, although considering the age of the operating system I would not be at all surprised if they said there's no PTF for OS/390.

The other question is which version? There was OS/390 Version 1R1, V1R2 and V1R3, then V2R4, V2R5, ..., V2R10. If this was a known problem for your release, AND IBM created a PTF, you should still be able to obtain the PTF and any pre-requisite maintenance. This assumes the system is maintainable; by that I mean the SMP data for your system is present and correct. If it isn't - and I'd bet my August disability check that the system is not maintainable, you are out of luck.

Hello,

Just curious, but Why is an OS/390 system still in use?
Hope this helps,
