IDCAMS Mergecat/Define alias

Hello,

When I am trying to recatalog a non-vsam dataset on a DASD, I am getting the below error.

IDC3036I DATA SET COULD NOT BE DEFINED TO SECURITY SUBSYSTEM
IDC3009I ** VSAM CATALOG RETURN CODE IS 118 - REASON CODE IS IGG0CLFT-0
IDC3003I FUNCTION TERMINATED. CONDITION CODE IS 12

Did someone come across such situation? Any suggestions on the resolution?

Actually, I was trying to perform IDCAMS mergecat to move the master catalog dataset entries to a User catalog and define the alias for these datasets.

did You read the messages and codes manual?

the only one can help You is Your security support..
in other words You have issues with RACF/ACF/TSS profiles and friends
