Thanks enrico for the time and reply. here is the status of the volume taken at the same time in both the LPAR's. I'm attaching this as a quote since i'm not sure how to attach a snap shot here Please let me know if i need to share any more information regarding this. Apologize if i or my thoughts are wrong!
This is the response of display command. Here it is offline.

I was not talking about a screen snapshot,
just a <virtual photo> of the enq' s outstanding and the open datasets on the volume

Here is the enq messages that i got through the TSO RMFMON.


I can see some enq for resources/ datasets but not on the volume which the thread speaks. Apologize a ton if i or my thoughts are wrong!
