In my system, I am getting the below Warning/Information Message. I believe these messages are delaying my Critical files being opened.

This is the message.

IEC161I 039-061,XXXXX,XXXXX,QAAAAA,,,ABCD.XYZ.AIX

How can I stop this message from coming in the system.

Mr. Sorichetti is correct. You (not us) must locate this message, understand what it means, and correct the underlying problem.

This has absolutely nothing to do with CICS or system programming. Perhaps the moderators can move this topic to the appropriate area.

If you are lucky, the message description will tell you what you must do to correct this problem.

Probably not by a lot. Although the error DOES indicate that if you / your site are this sloppy with a VSAM alternate index, you / your site is probably doing other things to slow down opening of files in the CICS region. Are your critical files set to open on FIRSTREF or STARTUP?
